EDIT:  A few people got confused about the baton, and I don't blame them. I sort of broke or bended the baton a bit. The ORIGINAL baton involved the turtles and I was supposed to choose a situation from that. You can find the original baton at Fuwa's LJ post (scroll to top).

Well, as few of you know. I've joined a comic group that's hopefully going to thrive. There are many talented artists in the group and I'm excited to be a part of it. We're on the process of creating the first issue--we hope to make at least one issue per month with 3 or 4 short stories and all original. We're thinking of making a website where people can go and preview the comics made and see how popular it gets.

Other news? Got my costume ready for the 1920 murder mystery. I'm participating in the act as the victim's daughter seeking revenge +w+. I love garters and guns....

Wow, sure has been a while since I posted. I've got LOTS of things to update, especially my website. Fiends from Japan are visiting in July 17th and leaving on the 19th after their tour trip. what sucks is I'm working those days--gonna have to talk to my boss about skipping a day or too. I love how flexible my job is sometimes--and that I get along with my bos XD; As long as I get my scenes done by due date I'm good.

Speaking of work, we had a lazer bowling party for the end of Grossology--stealthily sneaking in the booze >w>. I kicked ass on the first game...but then it just went downt he toilet after that. A couple of friends had to leave the party early though to go to the PIPETTES concert! It was wicked awesome. We danced through the entire show! MY friends and I all bought the pipettes shirt and wore them on the enxt day at work.

Few weeks ago my friend from the US came to visit too--same day I went to the PIXAR presentation for Ratatouille with my friends from work and boss. I haven't seen him in two years~ Good times~....

And yes, I DID go see POTC III. Opening night and wore my eyepatch and pirate shirt. The second sequal is still my favourite, the third seemed to drag during the ending--like LOTR tended to do. Although I found interesting how One Piece-ish the third sequal was.

I'm also proud to say that I have 100% completed my 8 years old Nico Robin costume--made out of an oversized black pant from the fabric store. All I need to make now is the Archeologi book and try and straighten out the wig. I want to dress up as Tomoe Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) too. I just hope it's not TOO hot in August....

So my parents drove 6 hours from my hometown to come visit me during the weekend. That was both fun and hectic at the same time, since they stayed in my small bachloer suite and very little privacy. I had to hide all my porn and dead zombie carcasses somewhere my neat freak parents won't find them.

Other than that, last week I discovered that someone had uploaded the TMNT movie into our server. And so I enjoyed a full week of TMNT goodness as I animated and waited for my stuff to composite.

AAAND for the best news of all! My friend from work bought the entire Sailor Moon anime series including the movies at the Sakura con. I already finished the first season and going on to the second. Oh my dear girly side has been somewhat revived and I realized.... I MISS being girly.

Sailor Mars kicks so much ass! I loved her and Sailor Jupiter the best back in the day and still do to this day.


Well the Anime Evolution is coming up in 3 months and I STILL don't know who to cosplay as... I was contemplating going as Cosmos from Fairily Odd Parents--since I still have a green mohawk I could pull it off easy. But...I dunno, I'm still looking for more options >w<;

I was over at my friend, Fuwa's house last weekend (best time EVER) and she also just happened to have the new TMNT Wii game. I think I had multiple orgasms while playing the game. I seriously recommend the game. It's SO fun. The only downside was that the characters repeats their quotes too much while playing. Mikey's still kicks ass because he can fuckin' FLY!! And his helium voice! Oh god his adorable helium voice!

Yesterday I decided to finally go surf ebay and look for an oroku saki/Shredder action figure--since ALL the Toys R Us and comic stores I've visited thus far have failed to have them on the shelves. I finally found one that was affordable, to my liking and on buy now (I hate bidding and waiting...)

And very exciting fancomic based on the TMNT movie when Leo and Raph have that dramatic shizzled fight. All you see here is the truth and nothing but the truth. I give you no shit!

I just watched a clip of the Japanese dubbed New Toon TMNT that's going to air I believe this month (?). I heard the voices, and I'll be blunt--they made me cringe and sink in my seat in shame just hearing what I was listening to. Could they not have picked a better voice actor that actually suits them! Raph's voice was horrible and it didn't help he was talking for most of the time in the trailer.

And then of course, there's the opening song... Now that's bad music. Doesn't fit with the mood of the show or the attitude of the turtles. What the hell does cooking have to do with the Ninja Turtles? Of all the artists/songs they could've used-->Asian Kung Fu Generation, Pillows, Orange Range, L'Arc~en~Ciel, etc. ( soley based on my taste ;P).

Well there hasn't been any real update for my website as of yet since I'm still constructing the Next Gen place whilst juggling with some illustration and fanfic beta-ing I've been promising @w@;

Stayed at work till 5AM...because the damn program kept crashing everytime I tried exporting a quicktime for final animation. Then when it finally does...I notice a mistake in my animation.
